Not too shabby, Sir.

I will have to agree with other reviewers on this one. It would've scored higher if it was longer.

Also, despite the animations being near perfect, there was one noticable flaw: The Rebel's gunfire. The bullets stopped and disappeared after a certain distance, no where close to the soldiers. Obviously that's how far it went in the litttle sprite animation you most likely had. (Or found on a site somewhere.) Basically, it needs to be fixed so the bullets leave 'off stage', so it looks like they're missing.

That, and I thought the planes had an attacking animation to them? I could be mistaking them for the drivable ones...

Summary:
Good start, animations have noticable flaws. 7/10

Can you say 'worthwhile Newgrounds Flash RPG'?

While I will have to admit, it wasn't as good as Final Fantasy A+ (Though, not too many flashes on here rank that high), it is sitll worthwhile to see again and to recommend to others.

I won't stay too long on this topic, but as you've already pointed out, your animation needs work. I cannot complain too much; You at least admit it, and appear like you're going to work on it in future projects.

Humour-wise...8/10. The jokes were silly, but they did make me chuckle. Especially the two jokes referencing towards FF A+.

And as for the concept, I think my little title says enough. The idea, if properly done, could make for a good RPG. I don't know how long it would take for animations, additional storyline, gameplay balancing and such, but just keep it in the back of your head.

Well, that's it, I guess. I hope to see more from you.

I'm sorry but this is NOT going to become a game. I can't program at all, and yes it would take WAY too long even if I could, and the concept may not carry such a game anyways. Still, glad you liked the movie. Thanks for reviewing!

Improvement is noticable.

Hello again. I would've reviewed this sooner, but I blame myself for not checking to see if you finsihed Part 2.

But anyways, down to business. Comapring this to the first one, I can easily say that you've made some changes. The 3-D effects are well done. While they are still noticable, they blend in quite nicely, unlike some I've seen out there.

As for the facial animations, one of the things that marked the score down last time, I cannot complain this time around. Beforehand, I was being a bit stingy, anyways. XP They worked nicely, and so did the character movement. Having 'that creature' splitting in half...wasn't expecting that.

So, after all those compliments and whatnot, why no 10? Well...you left me hanging again. But at least this time I know of your reasons, so no harm done.

Final Score: 9.5/10

P.S.
I do hope the next part is as good as the last two.

Quite nice...

I have to agree with the previous posts, the storyline is set up nicely to be something big, should you continue it correctly. I only have two complaints, both minor. One is that you need to work a bit more on your facial animation and expression. The second is...well, you kind of left me hanging at the end there. Maybe I was just hoping to see a bit more.

I do look forward for Part 2 of the series.
Thank you for your time.

Thanks muchly :D
Yes i need people to understand that producing this type of work ends up with large file sizes, no matter how much u reduce frames , lower sound quality and compress images, you're still ending up with large files. I've broken up this part of the animation just so i could fit in the file size limit of NG
Thanks for ur suggestion :D

Cheers:
Hope u like Part 2, its nearly done!!

i wish i could vote higher than ten!

i loved this to death. the storyline, the music, and especially the loads of custom done sprites done in this film. my personal opinion, this film was as good as watching Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom 3. i do hope your good work continues in the next one, which i hope to see soon.

not too bad....

it wasn't bad, overall. but i do have a lot of complaints. fist off, the 3D thing needs to go. it just didn't seem to blend well with it. next, keep the same style of characters you had in the first one. he ones in there just seemed....not as well done. and lastly, try to get some better music for it. it's not bad, but i think you might do better with other sound effects then the ones used off of Super Smash Bros. Melee.
i'm not saying i hate this, but i don't like the changes. please, fix them.
thank you for your time.

not bad!

good job on this. it made me think of the Dead Rain series here on Newgrounds...

nice.....^_^

loved it. only one question though. in Doom and Doomer(chapter2), in which of the doom games did that little alien kid appear in? i just don't recall seeing that one....
i did love seeing some of my more favorite enemies, like the goat demon. i do have to point out that you can't kill the goat demons with only one punch or a shot or two from the pistol or the shotgun. takes at least 3-5 rockets to knock one of them out. uggh...that was hell....
but besides that, good job to you guys. brought back a lot of memories of playing DOOM. i hope to see another one like this soon.

nicely done.

beautiful work! even for the first one, this was well done. i haven't seen the rest of the series yet, and i hope they are better than this one. only problem i saw was the character animation, like when they walked or whater. but the facial expression...perfect. you could see the fear in their eyes. well, i saw fear...
anyways, good job!

good job!

this is one of the best flash animations i've ever seen. everything was perfectly done. only complaint i have to make is that the pokemon battle theme repeated a couple of times. other than that, excellent work. i hope the sequel is a good as this one is.

Eh? Yes, I am aware that I have no bloody image. I blame Newgrounds' strict but understandable limits. Until ethier they give in and enlarge the size, or I succumb to the .Jpeg Format, it will remain empty.
